It has long been the desire to take the TEAMworks model into new geographies, and TEAMworks took their first trip to Guatemala this September. It was a great week of building relationships and working with special needs children at 4 different orphanages in Guatemala City, as well as visiting families of special needs kids in a nearby community.
There is still much work to be done, and the team is working on developing a strategic plan for returning to Guatemala and seeking to better the quality of life for these children.
